Statement of Faith

"...speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." Ephesians 4:15-16

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, and the final authority for faith and life.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” II Tim 3:16

“All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.” Psalm 119:160

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. . . Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness . . .” Gen. 1-26,27

“ . . .baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matt.28:19

We believe in the incarnation and virgin birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as true God and true man; that He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sin, arose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven.

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” John 1:14

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” Is. 6:14

“I and the Father are one.” John 10:30

“Who, being in very nature God . . . being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross!” Phil. 2:6-8

“He is not here; he has risen!” Lk. 24:6

“After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.” Mark 16:19

We believe that we are all by nature sinners, separated from God; and that salvation and eternal life is ours personally if we receive the complete payment that Jesus Christ made for our sin through His shed blood and resurrection; through faith alone, apart from all good works.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Rom 3:23

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -–not by works, so that no one can boast.” Eph. 2:8,9

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” I Thes. 4:16-18

We believe in the personal and imminent coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones.

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." I Thes. 4:16-18
